You never can say what Noddy will do but its highly unlikely he will do anything as much as a higher caliber manager. Tan don't have many options really....
You have arguably the best squad in the Championship, Slade just needs to trim it - get rid of the driftwood and give his strongest 11 a good run - none of the chopping and changing that was a feature of Ole's reign - give the best 11 game time and confidence and understanding will grow. Improve fitness, team spirit, and then strengthen in the January window - some will go and a couple of new signings will add a fresh impetus to the team. Russ seems to be a good egg and has a good track record, all be it in the lower leagues but why should that be a problem?! A good man manager is a good man manager regardless of the level he manages at! Slade has 'paid his dues' and deserves his shot managing a bigger team. Cardiff is that team and I believe that he will be good for you - in the press he has stated the ambition for a top 6 finish - but that is just media talk, he will be targeting auto promotion and I am quietly confident that he may well get it! So good luck guys and see you in the Prem next year (fingers crossed we are still there - we should be IMO but still a long way to go!).
