I have to be honest, from what he did at Charlton, he's not going to get job offers at places like Bolton, Scunthorpe or Peterborough, and probably won't even be offered an interview higher up. He has had a run of dullness that forced Cardiff to move him away from the first team, and a non entity like RD to sack him. I wouldn't want him in charge of a team I support again. No rencor from me, but he was awfull, the football bas park standard, and I feel for the Coventry fans who backed our protests that they have that sort of reward.
As Jurgen Klopp said last week, "you have a saying in England?...park the bus". Well Russell Slade not only drives the bus, he invented it and built it. He must have a good agent, because prospective employers can't be looking at the football his teams play.
It's shows how much he regards himself that's he's been prepared to work for sisu and RD. Strikes me as one of those individuals that takes any job interview the recruiter throws up. Have some respect, man.
A few interesting insights about Russell Slade from the players last night. Jason Pearce said that just before his sacking, the players asked for a meeting with Slade and told him that they wanted to play a more attacking style at home. He also said that Slade's training all week focused on the opposition. This explains a lot.
