it was one of those magic few seconds.... Anya has been playing like a man possessed recently eh..... On our day we are unbeatable.... if it wasn't for the wayward passes.... and the crazy set piece defending..
A tweet is it, or twat, never sure from the winning goal scorer. @T_Deeney: "There was no way I was placing it, if the 'keeper had saved it he was ending up in the goal as well."
Wow,that was amazing! When we play attacking football like that with such commitment and skill we can be unbeatable. Well done to Leicester too for the way they played and despite the score they attacked and defended well. Can we bottle that and open it up for Wembley?
I think we can... .the big pitch will suit us...... we have a great passing game..... and we will be on fire.... Vydra will be raring to go :
As Almunia said..... them winning a very dodgy penalty directly resulted in our win. If Knockaert hadn't gone to ground we wouldn't have scored a few seconds after..... Real justice.
got to love the passion in the radio commentators, even the sky guy is swept up in the euphoria--and who wouldn't be-- that is up there with any moment in football-- the carlisle goalie, man city winning the title, and the doncaster win at brentford-- was the same ref as at griffin park , how odd , he must be feeling weird..... top top day , after that, how can a 'final' be as emotional ?
Is it possible to watch these clips and listen to these commentaries too much? It still seems as unreal as when i was there yesterday every time I watch a clip. The sky one was absolutely brilliant!
It's unreal isn't it? Next time he gives a penalty that late on the team awarded it will be begging him to change his mind!
I have only just seen the highlights of the game for the first time Thats what football is all about Must of been fantastic to have been there You have to feel a bit sorry for the Leicester fans though, what a gutter Having said that I dont think it should of been a penalty anyway
Nevermind what it actually meant for us all it was a really well worked goal akin to the Huddersfield one in January. Somebody who hadn't seen the goal might think it was a hack down the middle which fell nicely for Troy... Firsly Anya brought the ball down really nicely then played it outwide to FF who used the skill to get away from 2 Leicester players. Hogg made the great run into the box when it could have been easier to stand and watch to produce a very good header back (he does seem to be getting more chances now..) I've seen strikers blaze the effort Deeney had over/wide etc! Thank goodness he didn't! Ofcourse it involved 2 englishmen and scot plus our own Argentine.
Same old same old - but in a different language!
