I've got a cheap price to fix the brickwork but the Skyman that thinks he's coming to fix the dish is in for little surprise.

The bastards wanted me to take a half day through the week so I've gone for a Saturday AM. Knowing my luck it will be Arny that gets out the van, however I have accounted for this eventuality. Everything is covered!

Sky told me I had to pay £75 for them to come out to check my Sky box, even though I pay them £64 per month for phone, TV, and broadband. Cheeky bastards. I'm phoning later this week to either get a big price reduction or I'm leaving.

Their punditry for the Liverpool game was one of the most scandalous things I've ever seen/listened too. It makes me sick to think the money we pay for Sky, but I don't have the sheer balls to get rid like this bloke. Fair play.

Well, I'm getting free line rental for 12 months (saving £12.50 per month), and the engineer is coming out for free. I'm happy enough with that.

Was on the phone for 20 minutes, fifteen of which were spent talking about football. The bloke on the other end was a Liverpool fan.
 
I always thought you were a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Now I know it!!

Stopping your Sky direct debit would probably have had the same effect as what you did, but not lhave led to you having to pay a builder to repair the brickwork.

Ah well. It takes all sorts to make a world.
