    Not sure if anyone noticed.. the term in the OP. "File sharers"

    This is where the weight of effort is made on piracy. Sky won't be handing over your details if someone claims you watched an online movie illegally.

    They will however hand over your details if you are shown to be hosting shares of pirated material. That's where all the piracy laws get broken, redistribution

    Since this all kicked off the target has always been sharers not viewers. They scare viewers to ward them off those sharing the files and the movie sites

    If a film company comes and says oi you watched this movie, but terrestrial TV has shown it, there is little they can do if anything, same for shows, if BBC is showing a series there is no way anyone is going to do you for watching an episode online if BBC have already aired it, cos you pay your TV license.

    So.. Luv, if you are not hosting illegal material you are prettty safe
