**** knows i get good deals with my sky and get almost all channels free for a year, my brother has 2 pals that work for sky and my neighbour works for sky so for the past 2 and a half years I've been getting basically all the channels bar sport for free. Aye thats the component cable, your ****ed then i think, gonna need to buy a cable (think Lidl had a deal for 2 for 6 quid no that long ago)
I have an HD box but dont have Sky HD but surely the picture should still be as good as ****ing freeview?
Correct In principal at least, the image will suffer because of it being transferred to your box through the scart, wheras the Freeview receiver is integral to it, so no drop in quality. You can also watch sky on your xbox...just download it and enter your account details and away you go...no multiroom charge either
Surely the freeview signal could be better quality than the sky, dependent on the dish v aerial reception quality. If your line of sight to your dish is obstructed by some bloody great big building or trees, then the signal is going to break up, unless you can realign your dish within certain boundaries. Whereas the aerial could be in a completely different direction dependent on your transmitter, even better if your property is practically on the doorstep of a transmitter. I assume this is freeview we are talking about and not freesat?
You have to ring up Microsoft and sit on hold for 20 minutes...when they answer and can hardly speak English, you then have to explain the time, channel and programme information so that they can administer the change.
I had this sort of problem at Christmas when I bought a new telly but just bought one of those HDMI cables and it was sorted
Shoulda told him he had to get the motion sensor thingy and he had to jump up and down in front of it to change channel, adjust volume, etc.
Or you just had to aim your dick at the tele and telepathically think the channel number as your cock acts as the transmitter.
