Last season they announced them on Thursday lunchtimes, so I think we will hear about the Millwall match tomorrow.

After then the weekend games nailed on to be televised are Sheffield United and Birmingham City. They will probably make the Easter Monday Coventry game a lunchtime or evening kick off too.

Coventry is Easter Monday so can still be televised live as a three o’clock kick off, but might be more attractive as a later game.

As it stand after the Bristol City game our next Saturday 3 o’clock game is Birmingham City on 18 th April And there is nothing to say that won’t get moved. Not great for season ticket holder who live some distance away, or non season ticket holders who live some distance away, or for shift workers.

And that is why I gave up our passes

The Aussie rules league here splits the league into two, with two thirds of the fixture set in stone at fixture release, and the final chunk sorted out about halfway through.

I wonder if it would work better having majority of games set in stone well in advance, or if it's the time slots themselves which are the issue?

I appreciate cups and postponements cause a bit of unpredictability regardless but wonder if that would help. Televising more games would mean less need to hold out as long as possible to ensure the "good" ones are on TV.
