I offered! Just leave all banking details including account number and sort codes and come tomorrow morning you will see the monies.
That reminds me of old 606. I can't remember why, but I gave an address (something like "123 Fake Street") and a2c told me not to give personal details online. Forget about the bank account, SC. Just bring the cash to Hartlepool and hand it over there. I'll be at the pier, bring the briefcase and leave it on the bench nearby
Yep will be wearing a red rose on my lapel and a bowling hat on my head. You should be sorry for not bringing the larger sooner
I'm with FHB and others on this. The fact that it was posted at 6:06 must be a sign (or something!). Seriously, Sky have screwed the game, created an elitism with everyone else trying to snatch a few crumbs from the top table. I'm all for telling them to eff off. I finish work at 17:15 on the south coast, no way am I going to make it up in time. Another home game lost for me.
I'll apologise to you on twitter, IA. Then bring a crate of beer to Fake Street. Still think blaming Sky is half the arguement- there is another side who negotiates at that table with them.
wouldnt it be great if we can all kick off at the same time and do a highlights show within hour or so after games had finished instead of waiting till poxy midninght see that cxxt claridge
There's absolutely no reason why the clubs can't protest and refuse to have their games moved. If the club really loses money when they are on TV, then they most certainly should refuse to move the game.
As stated on another thread yesterday I'm with Nutnut/FHB and others. I very much doubt if I will go to the Udders game out of protest (OK I'm a season ticket holder but so be it) and as I do not have Charlton Live (another Football League stich up) so will just wait for the result on the beeb or on here. I do have sky TV but will NEVER get sky sports (however many half price offers they send me) as I too think they have fecked up football outside the PM which now means that almost half the Prem League clubs are owned by foreigners. Do these new owners love the clubs they now own or do they have other reasons? Ask the Glaziers! Sorry Super, I will PM my bank details
I'm finding both sets of arguments very interesting, having not seen football without SKY (or even without a transfer window) I don't have much of an opinion, but both arguments are vaild , yes SKY has ruined certain parts of football but it wouldn't have been able to if demand wasn't there, there a business after all so some blame has to be held by the consumer.
So are you saying that Super is to blame for the current state of English football then Haysey? Or even Charlton's current position down in L1?
I love my sky sports- wake up every morning and watch sky sports news for an hour, it's also the first thing I watch when I get back. I enjoy bring able to watch Barcelona- the best football team of my generation, and all champions league games. I prefer Milan-barca over Chelsea-genk. Soccer Saturday is amazing. The corporate side of it does have an aggressive nature, but it's for the governing body to limit them as they see fit. Not their fault that they want the rights, as the revenue and ratings they get more than self finance the entire operation. Might be the only one- but I do love my sky sports!
Of course for a top of the table league 1 clash...it`ll be the B team or worse in the studio ,commentary team and patronise patronise all night long. I will leave work early to get to the match, lose money in doing so and will spit on skys very soul,I despise them....they represent all things evil in the game
