I think the 22 figure should not be taken as written in stone, it's probably a target, but circumstances being what they are, it will probably end up more like 26 players, which is what Sousa wanted the squad trimmed to, but we never really did, I see some similarities here with Sousa's starting season! Regarding the size of our squad, when Sousa joined I think it was close to 40, but I have always argued for a smaller squad, as it means you can afford the wages of one or two of those quality players you need in the final third, and clearly we are starting to look at this more seriously, well done Swansea Board and Chairman............
God I hope Gower stays Good point Norway, in fact in the evening post a couple of days ago Tatey was quoted as saying he's been allready getting fit , as maybe he wasn't as fit as he should have been in previous seasons. To be honest expect him to go as well. On the bright side though, Gower should be good for at least another season ( Is anyone buying this by the way?)
