The Culture Media and Sport Committee report is out. It concludes that Rupert Murdoch "is not a fit person to exercise the stewardship of a major international company." Hopefully this will inform the Ofcom investigation. The spineless chair should be replaced. On Twitter there's a lot of criticism for Conservative committee members not having the guts to support the conclusion but I'm pretty sure the Labour members would find it just as difficult if we had a Labour government. EDIT: Ofcom responds.
I suppose it's too much to ask for a custodial sentence, although I doubt anything will change at all. I did notice that News International seem to have missed the story completely, proof (if any was needed) that Murdoch only prints 'news' he wants people to read.
Sky Sports F1 have announced that three-time Grand Prix winner Johnny Herbert will be providing expert analysis as part of their team at the next five race weekends, starting with the Spanish Grand Prix next week. After making his debut on the channel over the Chinese Grand Prix, Johnny has now signed up for the next five races in Spain, Monaco, Canada, Europe and his home British GP, where he famously took his maiden F1 victory in 1995. The former Benetton, Sauber and Stewart driver will also appear alongside presenters Georgie Thompson and Ted Kravitz on the weekly F1 Show. Herbert signs up for next five GPs

Suppose we can start calling him "career man" again. Why couldn't they get in a proper replacement though? I struggle to understand scottish people.
I didn't realise that many people hate him. I thought they all hated the sky guy now, for being boring as hell.
I think Jake is about as liked as possible for a presenter. No matter what he does he will upset some people. He's no expert but he's keen which is what I want from a presenter, enthusiasm.
I can imagine Lee McKenzie's opening line. "So David, Eddie thinks your a jumped up idiot, what do you say to that.... something we can use in a clip please" All that exposure imagine how many fake rifts she can try and tell us there are.
