Just noticed, our Sky games are all against big teams. Interesting, if we get panned in those games we'll get chants of "Hull are **** haha". But if we win, it'll be all the more enjoyable... sweet!
Thankyou very much SKY ....... would have been able to watch saturdays match but have to work sunday with a 4pm start .......gggrrrrrrrrr.
Yes he did to the 61. Not really what i was meaning though.. What dufferman did was a complete shambles and a disgrace. But we have moved on from those dark days thankfully.
It is crap, I can remember plenty of games with spaces in the City section- the worst being Everton away when it was a Sunday lunchtime game. Sit where you want , rest your jacket on seat in front etc
It is over, but some people choose to misrepresent the facts and have a selective memory. It's true that Duffen and co took their eye off the ball and cpuld have done more to exclude new fans (easily seen from ticket database). It is also true as I stated above, that you could get tickets to virtually all away games. Until someone demonstrates otherwise, the Allams have lost all customer history data before 2012/2013 season so have no idea who the real fans are. This will please some people but not others. This seems a catastrophic business error to me- losing all your customer history. I am genuinely curious as to how they will implement some kind of Away Direct or Customer Priority scheme for away games, especially as buying tickets for away games last season was a one-off cash transaction with no 'papertrail'.
As I understand it, the club haven't lost all information ahead of this season, but they only have information going back a couple of seasons(which is obviously not ideal). They certainly know who was a member of away direct. Personally, I make all my away ticket applications online and I can prove 40 odd games a season for at least the past five years(even taking into account the games that were pay on the gate). The Duffen **** up remains an issue, as though it's true that you could get tickets to most games, I tried to go to them all and didn't get tickets to Old Trafford or Anfield. I did every game, but didn't get to two of the biggest, both of which would have been ground ticks for me and I still think that was disgusting.
How will you do that ? Take a big carrier bag of ticket stubs and credit card statements to the ticket office? Unwieldy. It was so much easier in the pre 2012 era....all your 10 years of transactions ever as a customer visible on the monitor.
Possibly - but that's not really a viable system or user-friendly solution. What if someone has multiple or changed email addresses? The bottom line is that it's a **** up. The season passes have been give out but curiously no word yet on away ticket distribution. Do the math.
as a non season pass holder, could you experienced away day'ers tell me what chance do you think I have of getting a ticket for the chelsea game?
We won't sell many tickets **** time It's on telly It's expensive Apply as soon as ticket arrangements are announced and I would say 99% sure to get one.
Cheers Agro, it's going go be one of the few aways I can get to so the expense will be worth it. Trains are ok from Wakefield too, £48 return.
