    Not so Hairy Mary!

When we came down Adams had only added to many on-going issues.

Van Wolfswinkle looked jaded, Bassong out of the picture, Snodgrass over-important and too influential. There was a complete lack of balance in the team on the pitch and a lack of harmony off it.

I don't think Snodgrass was a huge loss. Fer more so. Offloading Pilkingtom negated because of his injuries.

Other players have benefited from our year away, most notably Bradders who has won over many of his critics. Tettey has been brilliant in his covering role and is probably one of the first names on the team sheet, Redmond looks increasingly convincing, Martin more assured in the centre, whilst Hoolahan has been used well and has responded with regular moments of class and influence.

Vadis has never been integrated so remains an unknown quantity. I have reservations about O'Neil and Dorrans. Neither have imposed themselves in the Championship which makes me fear for what they could achieve (or not) at the next level.

Jerome is always going to be a problem for defenders, but we need a better first choice finisher. Maybe Grabban is it - but he has been too often wasteful and opportunities don't come so often at premiership level.

Would it be the fairy tale of them all if Ricky van W got twenty goals for us next season?

Right now dreams do seem to be coming true.

Well, EastEnd, if you look at the way AN has re-integrated all the dysfunctional parts of the machine into the purring beast you saw yesterday, then why not?
Bassong, Whittaker, Johnson, Tettey and others all looking assured in their respective roles now - which they didn't under Adams or certainly Hughton.
So I wouldn't rule anything out while he's at the helm - exciting times to be a city fan, especially after such an abject, disappointing season the previous year <ok>

Glad we were drawn as the 'away' side yesterday, after all AN still hasn't lost an 'away' fixture with us. Hope we get Man Ure 'away' first game next season, or better still Liverpool ;)

Watching that back gave me goosebumps.

Literally fist pumped when Redmond's shot hit the back of the net - what a move.

Is it worth asking AN to consider what he can do to transform RvW! After all he brought seb Bassong back from apparent oblivion!

AN will have a chance to take a look at him. Just wait and see I guess.

Congratulations on your promotion. Must admit I was very surprised by how much better Norwich were than Boro in every department. That Alex Neill was a massive gamble but really paid off so fair play. Unfortunately for Southampton Nathan Redmond will most certainly not be arriving on the South Coast on the cheap !

I'd say that goal against you may have inflated your perception of him a little. He's been far better this season (As you would expect) and turned into a bit of an assist machine later in the season. Still has his floors though and so often you're wondering why he is slowing down and doubling back when he should just be bursting past his full back. Still plenty of quality there though and he's really shown up in the big game over the Play-offs.

Let's start at £20 Mil and work from there shall we :emoticon-0110-tongu

Have been keen for Saints to sign him up since his Birmingham days. Has ( from what I've seen ) a lot of raw talent and blistering pace. Future England international definitely. Your 20 mill valuation won't seem so tongue in cheek in a few years I reckon.

Hence why I'd rather play his ability down!
