    Aye, I live in Washy but originate from Hendon then Grangetown then Town End Farm but been through Washy now for about 30 years. The posh end of Sulgrave mate what about you?

    You could say that mate aye, worked all ower the place as well, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Nigeria, Poland, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Peterlee <laugh>

    I normally walk the dog through the Garden Estate, I mean the posh end of Concord.

    Me too but it was just after it was DJB, left there in 91 if memory serves me well.

    I've worked in some rough places mate, Peterlee is up there with the roughest of em as well.

    I took redundancy but it was before Brown sold up. Started when it first opened but years, it was so long ago.

    I think this thread is going just the way billofengland expected it to...

    Just proves a point, that a well written, well constructed article, can get multy hundreds of views, yet accieve only a couple of replys, whereas you stick an insult in the headline, then the forum goes to hell in a rowing boat, or should that be rowwing boat. strange.

    any of you lads from Washington use the Victoria, stayed there when I was back home the other week, also stayed there for three days between xmas and new year, watched Blackpool v sunderland good bunch of lads, great food, and the couple who run the place are from redhouse,
