I did go to Red House Comp for a visit, when they brought that huge computer to your place, filled the hall and on the tiny little screen all it could do or all we saw it do was play noughts and crosses.
Must have been late 60s.

Honestly don't remember it MR, I started the Comp in 1970 so maybe it was just before i got there. Never even heard of a computer to be honest, never got a calculator till i was 18 FFS.
Definitely before 70.
It was like dozens of wardrobes stuck together, with huge cooling fins and fans made a right racket.
A digital watch now probably has more computing power than that did.

I think the main reason though, is most of them were applying on line for the Jeremy Kyle, whose you daddy, parentage DNA tests, its not normal to have that many uncles, and only on the mum and sisters side strange.
