It's all part of the game. Skrtel loves that sort of player to play against rather than a small tricky forward so suits both parties. What I found hilarious was when Costa was staring at Skrtel while the ball was in the air while Skrtel only had eyes for the ball, then as Skrtel goes to jump and clear it, Costa just runs into Skrtels elbow which doesn't move and he's even looking at.... We then go up the other end and score the goal
Costa is the top striker in the Premiership by a country mile. As a neutral his physical battering of centre halves is a bonus to watch in addition to his goalscoring.

There are those that see themselves as a hardman and so act acordingly to project that image to themselves and everyone else. All image. Then there are just hard men who are hard regardless of any external considerations or personal desire. Nothing to do with image. Skrtel is the latter. Keane was certainly the latter. You don't like Skrtel Jimmy and even when he has a good game you always find a way to dilute it by comments such as "he's benefiting from having 2 good defenders by his side". The reverse can also be true as it allows the other 2 defenders to play to their strengths knowing Skrtel will sweep when they err.
