How will the defence cope without Skrtel - really worried because Sakho and Can are hopeless without their leader.

would not bother with Lovren - Toure, Can and Sakho should be the back 3.

    Not sure if serious...

Would like to see Lovren Sakho Can... think Lovren will be good in the middle of the 3. He's much like Skrtel in that he's a see ball attack it type of defender so should do well in the middle where he doesn't have to move out wide as much.

We aren`t likely to either, it was a nothing on an incident caused by your thugs push. If you want to raise an issue with a United player then Jones would be a real candidate. At least Jones commited a real foul which could have received a red card from other refs.

Or writing headlines for the sport, "cabbage ate my gran", "ankle breaker spotted at Anfield". It has a certain consistancy to it.

Well can you say why he lunged at Mings ankle? Being outmuscled (fairly shoulder barged) doesnt count as when he falls on the floor he clearly kicks at Mings ankle. If you cant see it there is no point me carrying on the conversation, its clear. There is no momentum making him do it from the shoulder barge, he has to do the kick himself.

    Here is the vid again

Its a sly, frustrated, petulant kick at just being outmuscled. So dont you lot come over here taking the piss when you wont accept very obvious things by your own players

You're making a fool out of yourself pal. You lost, you were out played, your manager was out thought, your captain lost the plot again and your thug centre half followed his captain's example. Accept all of that and go again.

If you look at your own video he does throw his leg out as he falls, if you take note of where he is looking you may accept he is watching the ball drop and is hoping to get his foot to it. I would also love to know how he kicked Mings standing foot when both were off the ground as he jumped to catch the ball. Also the "fair shoulder charge" consisted of an arm across the side of his neck.

Not if it`s true. Anyway, like i said imo it was a nothing of an incident but you would have a valid complaint against Jones.

Yeah I said other things by Utd players, IMO the Rooney one is a frustrated kick out and Jones is just so clumsy in whatever he does

Rooney def went for Mings there IMO, he knew that Mings was catching it so what you said doesnt hold water

Anyway im off to bed, goodnight

Don't think I have, my flat-capped, woolybacked hombre. Not what I said at all. it should be punished with a sending-off and (at least) a three-match ban. Just saying I wouldn't apologise to the **** who'd tried kick me out of the game.

As Poll said in today's mail, jones' is an 'orange' card - some would give it as a red, most not. I think it was more uncontrolled than intent, so I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Rooney's is snide, it's intended and was in no way a 'nothing' incident simply because he never quite got the contact with the ankle he was trying for. Herrera's was like Jones' yoo, and I'm not for one moment saying he should have got a red for that either, or that Gerrard's reaction was justified (or even clever, the stupid ****). I am saying that had I done that, been rightly punished and banned, the last person I'd be apologising to was the prick who'd recklessly clattered into my ankle.

Thing with Jones is he should have been booked for the "tackle" on Lallana where just jumped through the back of him in the first half making the tackle in the second a definite yellow and therefor red (although could argue would he have made it if already on a yellow etc).

I don't think the tackle in the 2nd was a red card... it was just hard and a bit late but wasn't high studs or anything etc
