I said it was in the top three of places to stay and visit in Britain dumb ass. Try and keep up or are those 500 million pound deals making you confused.
Grwoing up in Glasgow, I l moved to Edinburgh for work reasons and lived their for about 5 years. I moved back and now regret it. I hate to agree with ST but Edinburgh is the best city in Scotland. By a mile. Glasgow is teeming with folk with random shaped heads skelping drink and drugs and sticking sharp things in each other.
I think we can all agree that as ****e as glasgow's catholic suburbs are, the city centre is miles better than edinburgh please log in to view this image
It's not £500m every day you thick ****. Wanna know how much it is today? I'll just giong calculate it. How many cups of tea did you make today?
As loath as I am to side with Sleep you did say 'Edinburgh has grown to be one of the most financially powerful cities in the world'. That was the point that Stam pulled you up on, not the number of visitors.

I love Glasgow, I've lived in London, Edinburgh, Berlin Hamburg and Hannover. Behind London my best is Glasgow I know it like the back of my hand where to go where to avoid which must help. You can be in the highlands in an hours drive Edinbough is also 50 mins away so you can easy go to anything that on in Edinbough but the best thing is M&D's is 20 mins drive .
Would the world miss edinburgh? what do you bring to the table exactly? even if your stupid parliament was blown up tommorow, nothing in britain would change!!
I used to work for the RBS in Edinburgh so your figures don't impress me much but if they give you a wee stiffy by all means keep telling us.
If I was as boring as you I could go and find polls that say Glasgow is the best place to visit. But mind you, you must know better because you "work" in politics.
RBS used to be our bank but we canned them because they were ****e. Barclays now. You want to argue figures? My company had the single biggest single day transactions ever in the history of BACS. £1.2 billion. So ****ing stick that up you trap little man.
