I noticed today that none of those six had squad numbers on our website, none of them are bad players, but it's in both parties interests they move on.

We need the space, they've done a good service and wish them luck in where they go. Even though the Cody fanboys will go mental, in all honesty he'll be playing for a lower end championship club at the highest plus we'll get change for him.

How many first team starts have that lot got between them?

    Not many.

Not nearly enough to warrent a place in a premier league squad. Unfortunate for the lads themselves, but we are a very different club now to the one that signed them.

All sound fair enough to me. Good luck to all of them, but it's a step too far.

Cody has a lot of fans because he's a great lad who deserves to have a good career. It's not going to be in the PL though.

Sad to see tudur-jones being released by you guys, thought he was a good player for us , but he was good player for the lower leagues no way for premier, so can understand the reasoning.

Wish him success on finding a new club

Don't think there's any major shocks in there, shame for Cody but he'll find a decent club.

Good luck to all of them, they may not be remembered but undoubtedly played their part behind the scenes.

Not surprised with any off them. One surprise i have that he fell out of favour towards end of League 1 season was Stephen Hughes. Thought everytime he played for us he done well and thought he would be better suited to the Championship.

I think Hughes is the best player of the bunch personally, but I reckon he is on quite high wages that don't warrant his position in the team.

100% in agreement with you there, have nothing against the fans but as a club I don't know the they think are.

  18. I agree with most of them to be fair.

McNamee would have been handy in the Championship as when he had a good game he caused problems, final delivery let him down on most occasions. Was used much more regularly at the start of last season campaign and had a fair influence on a few results. Didn't see much of him after that, was good against Watford when he came on towards the back end of the season. Possibly worth keeping as backup but when you have to name a 25 man squad you have to be ruthless.

    Cody McDonald
works hard and has an eye for goal, I doubt he could cut it in the prem and with Morison, Holt, Martin, Jacko and Vaughan all ahead of him it's fairest to him and his career he moves on. Will be a very good signing for any League One club I feel, possibly Championship. Just hope he doesn't go to Posh.

OJ (not OTJ) has raw talent and I enjoyed watching him play when he made a cameo. Was much more effective at League One as his technical level isn't quite good enough. Obviously not that young in football terms, if he was 18/19 then we probably would keep him (as that age group doesn't count in 25 man squad).

The others were pretty poor imo.
