Does anyone ever look at other boards? If not I can tell you that none and I mean absolutely none are as bad as the bickering that goes on between Swansea and Cardiff. Lets all grow up just a bit and leave that poor bugger Syd watch his team in peace.

Btw Aber, I like the "second coming" bit, very good !

I object to any mod altering threads full stop. I am not targeting DPJ
Totally agree as I already mentioned, offensive threads should be deleted. I don't participate in them and us banter between the Swans and us and have no axe to grind with the Swans. On the same token I do have my own view on the role of the mod.
Aber decided to close his account (so it seems) and his posts have gone and the evidence with it.
My thread re the eastern block question has also disappeared, have they (eastern block) infiltrated the boards! :)

No,you object to DPJ altering threads,just be honest about it mate.If it was modded by a super furry mod then this would be a non issue <ok>

If something was deemed offensive then it should be removed, which is what he did .The super furry mod suggested that the whole post should be removed but sometimes there is perfectly good content that can remain in and aid the flow of the thread,its plain and simple really and i think thats what DPJ did.

People are getting their piss stained knickers in a twist over nothing IMO.

I feel a bit ashamed but , with supporting the Swans& all , I felt an almost obligation to watch the Wales vs France Rugby semi & found it all quite exciting , although I was confused more times than not on what was happening . Canada did quite well !

The boards tend to get infiltrated now and again, its a way of tapping into the mood of the people ,after reading this thread they wont be ****ing with the Welsh anytime soon <laugh>

DPJ, I'm chilled out watching the north east FA cup derby. I did not say you removed my thread, I said it's disappeared, nothing more.
I have no issue with you or any mod but I do have my opinion that threads should never be altered. If there is offensive content then the whole thread should go as any "good points" are dwarfed by the offensive content.
 
If good points are lost that is the responsibility of the original poster to repost without any offensive content. As far as I am concerned the offensive content dilutes any valid point the poster may have originally had. It will also make them think again about what is banter and what is offensive.
We're all adult enough to know what is banter and what is acceptable in a debate.
