Interesting take on the World Cup there Nuts. I personally expect Ireland to be the side none of the big guns will want to come up against after the group stages, tactically the best of the Northern sides. NZ still the team to beat though...

It's going to be hard to call Sooper. Your group couldn't be any harder. England have unearthed several gems due to their ridiculously long injury list. England will have a very strong squad.
I still think Wales are dangerous. Gatland is limited but they have all the qualities.
I'd have much more faith in this Irish team if we had a better centre pairing. We need to get some creativity in at 13 and Reddan must start ahead of Murray. We have a fantastic Young centre called ringrose coming through but it's too early for him.
There's probably not a kick of a ball between Ireland, England and Wales. France still have the X factor.

France are a bit of an enigma, their clubs may be the best in Europe but they don't bring that to the internationals. I wonder whether their domestic competition which pays top dollar is negating the national side, I know the salary cap in the English Premiership is making it difficult for our clubs to compete with the French big-guns like Toulon...

I have a feeling I'm going to watch a lot more live rugby football than association football next season. No hiding in this game.
