Lost count of how many penalties England have given away.....never likely to win when giving the opposition so many free scoring opportunities......doesn't matter who the ref is.....
The stupid amount of penalties given away by England game after has been going on longer than Eddie jones
If you listen to Laurence Dallaglio, it was mantra when he was playing, that the England team never gave away more than 10 penalties a game. Yesterday, England gave away 3 penalties in about 3 minutes... It hadn't been a problem under Jones in the early years, but he now seems to be pushing the "obstruct the opposition" approach (rather than spending more time on the positive offensive play) at a time when referees are, quite rightly, taking a harder line on offences like not rolling away, obstructing running players, coming into a ruck at the side etc. He has to clean this up
Who is the England full back? Looks a bit dodgy. Blimey, France are a bit good. 13-15 now. 2 tries to 1.
Entertaining 1st half, both sides going for it in the best game of the series so far. France look confident...
Terrific game......Amazing the difference when you cut out the penalties.... France brilliant in attack and dogged in defence......
