    Regardless, I can still understand why some are offended by it, some of their closest friends could've been through the ordeal. Not having gone through it, I think we really have no right to be saying stuff like what u said earlier.

    Getting a touch pedantic here. When someone days it is not offensive, I think you know full well that they are indeed inferring the poster is overly sensitive. I would hope people are smart enough to understand words in the context they are used rather than twisting things to suggest they are being deliberately offensive. Using the term Tash used in the context he used it, will never chip away at the meaning or emotional impact of the word in its context of origin.
