As it seems unlikely that he is moving on this window, where does it leave him with the fans? He angled for a move, but didn't get one. Lots of footballers do that. Some have even done it so they can move to Newcastle, so is he a villain or not? He needs to keep his gob shut, stop listening to his agent, and knuckle down and play like he did last season for those last few games. There is a good reason why no CL clubs have moved to buy him. He is not as good as he thinks he is. He could be immense in the Championship if he can get his head around the fact he is here to stay. I am quite pleased it looks like he has to stay, and has to atone for last season's abysmal performance. Not all the rats have been able to jump ship.
If he refused to play we just fine him over and over again so won't actually end up paying much of his wages. I can see a loan deal being brokered.
Can't see him being allowed to go on loan. Rafa seems a tough cookie to me, he will tell him to get his head around being in the Championship and start performing or he wont get in the team.
Maybe we should just get him to take sprint training sessions? As long as someone has a camcorder recording him at all times I'm sure he'll put some effort into it.
Sissoko will go, 100% the money will be used. Rafa was on the 6am flight from Newcastle to Amsterdamn, reliably informed its on business but unsure on the player. El Ghazzi at Ajax is a possibility, but we are after a striker, It's also possible Das Bost is meeting Rafa halfway, but obviously these are just whispers.
Equipe de France equipedefrance .@MoussaSissoko a été autorisé par #Deschamps à quitter Clairefontaine à 9h pour finaliser son transfert. Direction Bari pour le groupe. 7:58 a.m. - 31 August 2016
Also, Sissoko has just been allowed to leave the French training camp in order to 'finalise his transfer' - seems something may be happening.
My schoolboy french is a bit rusty... he has been given permission to leave Clairefontaine by Deschamps to finalise transfer. He is going to Bari?
Perhaps not so exciting: Lee Ryder @lee_ryder 1h1 hour ago Rafa Benitez is heading to the UEFA Elite Club Coaches Forum in Nyon today. But still in touch with staff for #DeadlineDay#nufc
I think it says that Sissoko has been given permission by Didier Deshamps to leave Clairefontaine at 9 o clock to finilise a transfer. The rest of the team are heading to Bari
This is Incorrect from Lee Ryder, Nyon is switzerland, Rafa flew from Newcastle to Amsterdam, it's like catching a bus to manchester but your reportidely going to Southampton. Atsu to be officially confirmed very shortly. Sissoko is between Everton and Spurs. Sky have said £30m but it will be 5 installments of £6m
would anyone actually trust him in the first team if he did stay? I certainly wouldn't want him anywhere near the team, we're on a good run at the moment and are getting things together, putting this prick in the team with all his arrogance and attitude will massively distabilise us.
