And 1000's of additional people arrive in short order, an irresistible force. They meet an immovable object. And disaster is inevitable. Remove the immovable object and they just keep on moving.
Enough already!!! Is it really so important to you to air YOUR opinion that you have to come on this board, of all boards, to air that opinion in such a way that the majority of posters have confirmed has caused offence. To then compound that offence by claiming that any repondants should not take offence and were unable to understand? That you continue to persue the matter on thiis board is both arrogant and can only be interprited as deliberately designed to prolong offence under the guise of debate
You think Liverpool fans have never discussed the issues surrounding Hillsborough? You realise that in this city and amongst our families and friends we have discussed this issue and the root causes of what happened that day a thousand times over the last 22 years. Fences were present at a large percentage of grounds around the country in those days and innocent people weren't tragically crushed to death every weekend were they you dense twat. There were many reasons for what happened that day but simply stating "it was de fences dat did it" is undoubtedly a pretty solid testament to the level of your intelligence and education on the subject. Of course pictures in the papers will be harrowing and distressing but if thats the price of justice then it's a price worth paying.
I think schofields reasoning goes something like this people want to watch football so they build football stadiums football stadiums allow people in to the stadiums football stadiums are designed so people can watch football ergo - it's all footballs fault - no football = no hillsborough disaster somehow i still don't think schofield will get it
I remember him from the old 606 - and he was a dense, thick prick even in those days. Seems he hasn't matured one iota.
