I wasnt blaming specific religions ??? That doesnt surprise me though because those countries have more collective respect than the likes of the crap over here, and America
I know you weren't you big girls blouse, but since they're an islamic republic and therefore, I presume, religious I decided they're a good example that even people who believe in God can contribute positively to the world. Which is no surprise a shock to you as you seem to have a strong vendetta against Religious people.
This planets real apex preditor is bacteria btw. We think we own this planet, but far from it... we never have.
Im not fussed, man made climate change is real imho, but im still not fussed enough to do anything drastic.
No vendetta , but as an athiest I think the fact the planet is dying poses another significant issue for their claims. If we're still having wars about some great being looking after us I dont see us having the collective brain capacity to save the planet.
Its a fact mate just wanted to bring human existence into context. You are less significant than bacteria
I still believe the earth is going it's natural cycle, but yes with some aggravation from mankind. When people talk about record temps and other stuff, they generally are not going back more than a 100 years - but our planet is over 4 Billion years old. So even if we do or are 'destroying it' - once our planet has binned off the human race, it's natural cycle will recover, just as it did from the prehistoric age. Some will hold the Australian Bush Fires as evidence of global warming, but records didn't begin until 1950, so we are basing 70 years the average human cycle on 4 Billion years of planetary history. I'm not saying we shouldn't change the way we maybe doing things, but let's also keep it in context, that the media is more powerful and more availble now than it ever was. After all you would have been lucky to find even a landline in Australia in 1950
This is kinda my point... bacteria or some water based microscopic creatures will survive and they will evolve. The human race does not matter. Everything dies , so.what.
I'm sure we would disappear before all creatures became extinct. We have to remember the human race only survives as it does currently due to it's own manmade organisational structure and skills. Once that network collapses, then starvation and disease will pick us off pretty quickly, as well has turning on one another in a dog eat dog world. Like a modern day version of the black death if you like for want of better words. For some odd reason, human beings think they will survive above all creatures, that is simply not true, because apart from the ability to use tools, we are pretty weak as a species. You only have to look at Crocodiles, if you want to look at the ultimate survivors.
