The Earth has been heating at roughly the same rate for about 150 years, that's according to every single scientist and graph correlating the earth's temperature. That's 50 years before the motor-car was invented. here's 2 graphs, one that is pro-climate change and one that is just a graph based on 140years of collected data. 'oh no, look how much the Earth's temperature has gone up since 1960, it must be man-made' please log in to view this image 'But wait a minute though, how was the Earth getting hotter at the same rate before the invention of the motor-car' please log in to view this image Oh, and what is the name of this earth type planet we've discovered and researched to run our simulations with yor planet guys science? And please explain why was everyone at NASA so ****ing surprised when their probes turned up to Neptune and discovered it's atmosphere was wildly choatic with super-sonic wind which they still can't explain? Where was your planet guy and his brilliant predictive atmosphere science?] You talk ****.
I'm not against either side of the argument because i don't give a shhite. But, I assume before the motor car, every household burning wood or coal couldn't have helped. Just a suggestion like.
I wouldn't think many people give a shhite in their day to day life, I certainly don't go through my day thinking about it. I think it's probably just keyboard rage
Nice graphs. The 2nd one is quite flat so it's hard to see any curvature. Squish it and add some straight lines and it's obviously accelerating.
it starts at the beginning of accurate measurement, rather than being some massive oil-co conspiracy. I'll let you off for thinking the lines are pretty much straight, as you are a mole, therefore blind. You also seem to be missing the point that I'm not a denier at all, I was early to the 'we're ****ing it up' party, but the fact remains there is no definitive proof. Loony leftie has resorted to making **** up now in a desperate attempt to prove the unproveable, I laughed at his planetology claim, he should tell NASA about it, it'd give them a good laugh too.
Climate scientists James Hansen was the director of space studies at NASA, you should have read of his research on Venus in the 70s Gavin Schmidt is the current director of space studies at NASA. You may have noticed I referenced him already. I very much doubt they need telling about how to use spectroscopy to analyse the composition of planets, Wyse for infra red intensities or the archive of chemical signatures. Best not draw a straight line on your chart, it might show an upwards curve
This is waffle and deflection. We could trade charts but they all show both a continuous and accelerated warming in the industrial age. This is a good source for all the evidence. https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/climate-change-data-green/temperature.html The biggest laugh is your assumption that we cannot know the radiative forcing of chemistry because of the speed of the wind on Neptune. Now about the climate scientist you claim will back you up? In your own time.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-51189430 US President Donald Trump has decried climate "prophets of doom" in a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where sustainability is the main theme. He called for a rejection of "predictions of the apocalypse" and said America would defend its economy. Mr Trump did not directly name the teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg, who was in the audience. Later, she excoriated political leaders, saying the world "in case you hadn't noticed, is currently on fire". Environmental destruction is at the top of the agenda at the annual summit of the world's decision-makers, which takes place at a Swiss ski resort. What else did the president say? In his keynote speech, Mr Trump said that it was a time for optimism, not pessimism, in a speech that touted his administration's economic achievements and America's energy boom. Speaking of climate activists, he said: "These alarmists always demand the same thing - absolute power to dominate, transform and control every aspect of our lives." They were, he said, "the heirs of yesterday's foolish fortune tellers".
Greta "I wonder, what will you tell your children was the reason to fail and leave them facing... climate chaos that you knowingly brought upon them? That it seemed so bad for the economy that we decided to resign the idea of securing future living conditions without even trying? "Our house is still on fire. Your inaction is fuelling the flames by the hour, and we are telling you to act as if you loved your children above all else." She strongly criticised politicians and business leaders for what she said were continuous "empty words and promises". "You say: 'We won't let you down. Don't be so pessimistic.' And then, silence."
Coca-Cola will not ditch single-use plastic bottles because consumers still want them, the firm's head of sustainability has told the BBC. Customers like them because they reseal and are lightweight, said Bea Perez. The firm, which is one of the world's biggest plastic waste polluters, has pledged to recycle as many plastic bottles as it uses by 2030. But environmental campaigners argue many Coke bottles would still go uncollected and end up in landfill. In the war on plastic is Coca-Cola friend or foe? The drinks giant produces about three million tonnes of plastic packaging a year - equivalent to 200,000 bottles a minute. In 2019, it was found to be the most polluting brand in a global audit of plastic waste by the charity Break Free from Plastic. But speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Ms Perez said the firm recognised it now had to be "part of the solution".
so you can't refute that the Earth has been heating up at roughly the same rate since before the car was invented or China and India became industrialised? case won. I don't even have to go into why the probe results of Neptune surprised all the scientists and showed of how little worth your planetary guru is.
