Luck does play a comparatively large factor in tournament football compared to league football, there's no denying that and you could argue that Utd have got unlucky a couple of times... but then in contrast we often get a bit of luck in the league and score more than our fair share of late goals so I guess it all evens out in the long run. I feel Fergie probably should have won maybe one more European title but with the amount of PL and other cup trophies he hauled in i'm not making any complaints. At least with Liverpool having more CL titles it gives them something to hopelessly hang on to, but I'm sure Utd will win another before they do.
