Forgot that his private life had any bearing on his occupation. You sniff dogs arses, pack your things away and hightail it collecting your P45 on the way out, sonny jim.
I did say if the award wasn't down to longevity alone he wouldn't win which most seem to agree with so fair enough. Regardless it's an amazing contribution to the PL.
Il agree that players like Thierry Henry had more talent than Ryan Giggs, but at the same time Ronaldo was a more talented player than Henry. Ryan Giggs deserves the award because of his longevity over 20 consecutive seasons, and playing a key part in 12 title winning sides. It was obviously a full gone conclusion as to who was going to be the best manager, there is no one in British football history who even gets close to fergies achievements, never mind the past 20 years. An honourable mention should go to Arsene Wenger who is easily the 2nd best manager since the PL began. I still think he's doing a remarkable job considering the lack of funds available to him at Arsenal. Look at sides like Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea who easily outspend Wenger and Arsenal, yet all 3 still finished below them
My oppinion both deserve it well done. Over the 20yrs I think? Giggs is the only player too have played every season.. That alone, is worth the award.. 1. Because he's a brilliant player. 2. If he was'nt brilliant now, Sir Alex would have shipped him out seasons ago. IMO not the best EVER player to play in the Prem though.
Only player to have scored in every season of it for sure. He's a part of the furniture. Not to mention he was the highly marketable first poster boy of the new premier league. A lot of people were won over to English football on account of his curly chest hair.
