This idea of other teams digging us,or Newcastle or Sunderland out is nonsense.Just because it happens to come at the end of the season doesn't make it any different from Wigan getting beat 4-0 by United in January,4-1 by Chelsea in February or 4-0 by Liverpool in March.

Manchester United have dominated and that's down to Fergie, but there is nothing to stop a smaller club winning a title. As Warky points out it's 11 v 11i would say Swansea look most likely to grow into a Champions' League side and Town certainly have the financial resources to compete at that level.

Being successful comes down to desire and ambition above all else.

 

With SAF out, it's very much advantage Chelsea and Man City. If Mourinho returns, Chelsea next season will be a juggernaut.

On another completely random note, poor Oscar has played 89 games in the last 12 month. He obviously got tips from Russell Martin (played every second of our promotion season)!

Good Luck to David Moyse he deserves this chance and he will put everything he has into it. I have always followed Moyse's career with great interest after he took a group of us young lads for football coaching sessions when he was at Cambridge Utd in the mid 80s! A great guy but if you did something wrong the stare he used to give you with those grey eyes... Still gives me nightmares!
