I'm sorry like but this is just not the case matey. Where exactly are ALL of these players right now? NONE of them would be any use to us at all.

Our problem was not getting shot of these players, the problem was we never replaced them with better.

My personal opinion, not trying to be contentious.

Mig - as usual - good and solid.
Back 4 - all put a tidy shift in. O'shea m-o-m for me. Bramble surprisingly good. Rose fair and Bardsley a good return.
Midfield. Solid but not creative. McClean only looked good cos he was meaty in his tackling, Gardner was ok, Sess ran into his own trouble too much, Magic.....oh dear.
The Geordie up front has few ideas, but there again, no inventive support.

Connor looked good in his cameo, but Lazy Larsson didn't.

We edged the second half but were rabbits in the headlights first half.

    Just my thoughts.

The fixture list has given us 5 out the lat 8 at home mate all but 3 of the 8 (today's opponents included) against opposition we should be able to get points from if we really want to escape relegation. We couldn't ask for any better than that tbh.

Chelsea play on Monday and in the Europa league on Thursday. Might not be that bad a time to play them. They got beat today and although I expect to get beat we could just sneak a point.

The worrying thing is how poor we were (and have been for a while now) in the final third. Most of our recent goals have come from penalties. Today how many times did we trouble De Gea? Once, when Sess lobbed the ball into the 6 yard box. That's why I think we'll go down, we won't be able to get enough points if we can't score, will we?

Graham's movement was encouraging, but no one was supporting him. The game plan seems to be pass to Sess then stand still, he can't do it all on his own, especially when the rest are like statues just standing there.

McClean lacks quality in large quantities but his work rate and grit will be important from now onwards. I couldn't care less if we sold Johnson at the end of the season, get as much as we can from him and get a young, hungry winger in.

I expected to see us give what was effectively a second string Man U team a game mate we were poor all over the pitch. Fair enough we were better second half but, by then as usual we were beaten. Man U cruised for the last half hour of the second half I saw and we were still devoid of any sort of clue.
Our home games are where we will sink or swim and, if we can get a point at the barcodes then we should be fine, again though we are relying on other teams to **** up to keep us up.

In that 6 minutes added time any other team would have been pushing United back and pumping balls into the box... we hardly had a touch
