I suppose I meant both lol. Get in due to Hernandez, and get out for Scott. Big thanks to SS though, always a legend in my book.
Man City fans' are probably feeling somewhat underwhelmed with the signing of Scott. Whilst a feeling of euphoria is clearly gaining momentum hereabouts. Hernandez for Sinclair, plus about £700,000.00 in Dr. Jenkins' piggy bank sounds like a good days work to me.
Hernandez does look the dog's. Scott may have scored more, but boy can Pablo cross the ball and find his man. Can also beat his man with more than one trick.
Watched the YouTube video again yesterday and you're right, Ash. He's not prolific, but I think his brief will be as a provider. If he chips in with some goals too then great.
This is what Danny's been missing, ball to feet/head. With Sinclair, we never had that. Dyer has been working on it, so with Pablo and Dyer banging the ball in, I think we'll see a few more goals from Danny.
What a swap. Sinclair, who wasn't even one of our better players last year, for Hernandez + £700k. Huw's done it again.
Mad to think we have all these players coming in and from a cash point of view we are still about £15mil better off than last season
It seems like we've spent a lot and we have by our standards but getting over £22M from Liverpool worked out brilliantly for us in the end. Rodgers & Allen v Laudrup & Michu. Hmmm.....
If the figures are all correct £620k will go to Chelsea, so if we have signed Pablo for £5.5m we will be up only £80k on the day, still not a bad day
