I wouldn't say he has changed at all Horsham, saturday every Hull player were on top of their game leaving Millwall chasing shadows,Simpson had a couple of good games when on loan to us, he also went missing which was probably why a deal couldn't be reached between the clubs.
I've heard that Simpson has been very good so far this season so maybe he has finally matured, personally i wanted us to sign him permantly as it is obvious he has quality, for you not being able to offload him might well be to your benefit now.
Don't ask me about the second half as i left when the 4th goal went in, a pint in the sun was far more appealing
