I think fryatt would be sitting at probably 12 or so goals if he hadnt been injured. They are different players but clearly fryatt is the far better player. I dont think there is much chance that simpson will be offered a new contract. He simply isnt good enough for top team in this league. 5 league goals isnt acceptable. His assits are nice and he holds the ball up well but at the end of the day he is a striker and he cant score.
