This should be the team based on recent form this year.

    ------------------Hart------------------

    Richards----Taylor----Lescott----Cole

    ------------------Parker----------------

    ---------Lampard-------Milner---------

    Walcott--------Sturridge------Johnson

I think you could make a valid argument for Steven Taylor to get a squad place since he's been knocking on the door for years, but Raylor, Simpson and Danny '2 league games played' Guthrie? I think a few people need to take off the black and white specs and see there are better options, and better options that haven't even been picked.

I wouldn't have Carson, Zamora and Johnson in, but there is vague logic in that Johnson can cover Ashley Cole and Zamora is the big lad choice with Carroll off colour. None of the three will get on anyway, so what difference does it make?

He gets dizzy when he travels too far north. Manchester is as far as he can manage.

As long as Capello is in charge of England and carries on picking dross like Barry and all his other favourites regardless of form or talent then I am just disinterested in English international football, I really could not care less what they do. That includes in the Euro, patriotism can suck my balls.

I didn't say he was any good, but he won't play anyway. I'd start Bent and Agbonlahor, otherwise its Sturridge and someone (Johnson?) either side.

I would actually start Walker, he broke into the spurs team last season, and has been a revelation, where as simpson is on the verge of being dropped.

Barry shouldnt be in there, Parkers basically a better version then him.

Wellbeck and Strurridge were the stand out players in the U21's its only fair they have been promoted.

In reality Capello doesnt seem to give a **** anymore, hes leaving soon and can't even speak the language!

I dont doubt they are worth the inclusion, just saying you dont need to have been playing well for 2 years, prospects should get in as well if they're breaking through like Sturridge did.

Sturridge, Welbeck, Walcott, Adam Johnson and Defoe are realistically the players that will play uptop for us in 2012, doesnt bode well.

Jesus, that is worrying. And Defoe! He doesn't even get a game for his club.

    Hart
    Walker Jones Jagielka Cole
    Rodwell Parker Lampard
    Johnson Sturridge Walcott

A bit pacey and different. Rodwell, Parker to hold with Lampard box-to-box.

That squad shows how weak our midfield is too. Thank Allah for Wilshire.

    --------------------Hart-------------------
    Walker----Jagielka-----Lescott-------Baines
    -------------Parker-----Rodwell-------------
    --Milner----------------------------Johnson
    -----------Bent----Agbonlahor-----------

Would be my choice of team from that squad. Can't see any way to improve it really beyond personal preference, what with Bent and Agbonlahor a partnership for Villa.

Not surprised simpson wasn't in. Saylor should've been and richards should've been! Both better than cahill and glen johnson.
