Could of had Tevez & Drogba playing up front with Gyan and still wouldnt of scored on Sunday, the service to Gyan was shockingly bad actually just plain non-existent just tippy tappy back and forward across the box with zero width.

Bent is hardly breaking records down Villa is he?

I wondered the same thing a couple of times since he left but I cannot think of a game where we fluffed a load of chances that he might have scored... like most of us I wish we'd had time to sort out a replacement striker during teh window.

On a related note - does his poor performance for Villa mean we'll be more likley to get £18 million rather than £24?

We really had to sell Bent he did not want to stay at Sunderland.

And we got good money for him.

I am a firm believer no matter who the players are if they do not want to play for our club then P.45 them no player is bigger than the club.
