Canford Cliffs was well beat long before the hanging, the hanging was probably down to the fact he was a tired beaten horse because Frankel had taken him out of his comfort zone, The same applies to Workforce in the King George
Idont know if it was CC wasnt at his best or as shergs said in the above, Frankel ran the race to the way he wanted and took CC out of his comfort zone, but it was a fantastic race to see an athlete of that quality!
