Walton also incidentally comes across as being very proud of getting a run of games for Argyle at last and highly motivated to keep Argyle up. He hasn't always been the fans' favourite but I for one stick with Lalala. Those that haven't seen what he writes shouldn't form opinions.

Incidentally, Purse also comes across as extremely family orientated and set off back home right after the game yesterday straight into the snow. There's a pic on Twitter of him on the road in blizzard conditions somewhere in Northants last night. In his case, the more I read, the more I wonder about that wild red card just before the Christmas break.... Sorry, but I do.

I don't have to read his ramblings to form an opinion of his footballing as I've seen quite a bit of it this season. He is still mostly pants despite his gratitude for his run of games and desire stated regarding Argyle's fate. He has had "some" good games and that is about as good as my opinion could get so far. Whether they are family people or not isn't of much interest to me. I doubt many people go into Tesco and ask the checkout person about their private lives and if they love their kids so why would I want to know about a player's private life.

Yeah I think weve been too hard on him before.
When he had his first season down here we/Sturrock (he bought him) should have given him more of a chance, I know he got sent off but to drop for the rest of the season was stupid

From what I could gather at the time Brokie, Walton was an arrogant asshole and this must have shown up on the training ground as well. It wasn't just Sturrock who obviously formed an opinion on him it was the rest of them as well who Managed the side. He was less than useless on the park and did absolutely nothing to endear himself to either the fans or management. Why then were we too hard on him? He was treated exactly right. Since he came back, and don't forget he was out for a long time, maybe he has woken up to his shortcomings and has tried a lot harder. I still don't think he has lit any fires on the pitch up to now. He has been quite good in some games, average in others and even poor in some. There is something missing in his make-up and I don't think he would have much of a future elsewhere. Maybe that is why he has woken up.

I expect if he was playing as good as he takes penalties, Guilfoyle would have sold him.
