Club physio Simon Maltby has left, as the result of a re-structuring of the Club's medical section.

Farewell, Good Luck and a lot of thanks!:emoticon-0150-hands

did you end up there as a result of Simon Maltby's recouperation methods?

No mate - travelled up to Hull for an old mate's send-off at the Crem., Northern Cemetery. He was a big Dylan fan and, as they were playing "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", I went spark out! Four times in a row!
Rushed me into A & E, cos my blood pressure was down to summat like 89 over 49!!!<yikes><yikes><yikes>

OK now though....<ok>

Did they figure out what had caused it?

I'd guess so...The ECG had all my components ok, so the doc figured out it was likely something from outside me. They suspended a medication I'd had prescribed (and been taking for 4 - 5 years!) and my BP went back up to 120 over 80 in 24 hours. Then they let me out of the HRI. Got to see my GP, but he's on hols at the moment. They'll have faxed details to him - I hope and trust!

Maybe you just haven't been smoking and drinking enough recently?

PS - I'm not a qualified physician.
