Apparently Roberts told a fan that he's back for Sat. So is Gooch. Hopefully Simms is on the bench too

Hope so TC, neither Roberts nor Gooch took any part and Simms completed the full session, to be honest Simms looked back to full fitness but I suppose it depends if he has a reaction.

If he trains all week then I'd start him. We need points to maintain the momentum and arrest this dip. Be a lot better going into the World Cup with a couple of wins

I agree, we should be starting him if he is anywhere near, we can always sub him if he starts blowing.

If he's got 60 mins in him (why wouldn't he? He's a young lad) then get him in from the start, gives us an out ball and some height on set pieces. I'd be tempted to bring Wright back and go to a back 3

I know, I know and it seems as though I'm always getting on O9's case. As good a lad as he is, he just doesn't get in my first choice XI. Maybe his versatility gets him on the bench. Soz

I don’t think we’ll see Wright playing anywhere other than the centre of a back 3, I think it was Neil who said he isn’t quick enough to play on the outside

Down to Hume to nail down right back role and something for Huggins to aim for. For what's it's worth I think will miss Gooch's energy at right back

Agreed. We’ll miss Gooch’s desire and experience as well.
