If he just learned to cross a ball he'd be a top notch RB!! I don't think his defensive work can be faulted, can it?

He can't cross and can only make a pass backwards. Can't even pass a ball towards the middle of the pitch, defending is overrated, doesn't know when to show wingers down the line at times, offers nothing in attack, can't judge the bounce of a ball to him at all, please I want a better RB starting for us, and No, I don't mean Raylor either.

Not really. Have to say too he has got a couple of assists this season from crosses and has put in some very good ones over the last couple of weeks. They're a bit wasted with our two lads though because they don't really attack aerial crosses well at all. I like him and have a lot of time for him, we certainly look better defensively when he plays. He makes countless blocks and some of his other defensive work just goes unpraised by our fans unfortunately. His passing can be a bit dodgy though.

All that said I just can't see this contract scenario being resolved now. There are plenty of good right backs out there. Indeed we have a belter in our ranks in Santon, and I think we'll probably get a left back in. Santon provides zero in terms of crosses from the left side, can't even get it in along the floor. His cutting inside and shooting is a useful tool though, as shown against Wigan. I would prefer some natural balance with a left footed left back, and Santon is better on the right anyway for me.
