Excuse me for stating the obvious but I would suggest that the Pozzo view is that form is temporary, class is permanent... quite how we view that is another matter
I wonder if Silva snake was told this before he took the job given his grievances with the Pozzo transfer policy ? https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....marcel-brands-squad-reduction-sell-before-buy
Lots of silly Everton fans had worked out Richarlison's inflated fee obviously had the compensation due to WFC included. They now know the truth.
Good on Watford, the claim is more about highlighting and condemnation of an illegal practice from another EPL club rather than chase the cash.
I got absolutely hammered on here for stating you had no chance of compo given how it panned out. Just saying....
You were saying that EFC had no charge to answer for, that is quite different from WFC knowingly embarking on a course of action to establish unethical behaviour rather than seek cash. That is still to be decided.
Nope, what I actually said, was that you had no chance of compo for us now employing him or suing Silva for breach of contract (as was suggested by some on here) as you’d chosen to sack him for performance issues and we’d taken him on as a free agent. Seems Watford FC now agree with me.
You did, and you were right. Can't remember if I commented at the time, possibly shot from the keyboard as is my wont on occasion, in which case you'll get a full retraction from me! Not sure Watford FC do agree but the rules are such that there is no recourse. Begs the question: if the EPL agree with our (I'm pretty sure knowing our owners) watertight case then what will the punishment be? A future embargo? A fine? Points deduction?
Fortunately I didn't slag anyone off except for the actions of the everton board. In a round and abouts way, with a little more emotion than now, I merely asked what the EPL are going to do about it?
Dunno mate, if they can prove the tapping up, then we’d be potentially liable to sanction. However, given that you raised your case with the EPL last November and they told both parties to resolve it between themselves, then I doubt there’s cast iron proof of transgression, unless something has turned up since, then I’d expect nothing more than a slap on the wrist - if that.
I think WFC's dissatisfaction was always aimed at the unprofessional conduct by officials employed by EFC. They were rightly disappointed with Silva's poor reaction to the approach but were not seeking any address from the slimy git, unless that is part of subsequently withholding finance from him. I'm not sure if this has been resolved or not.
Superhorns, on the point of payment to Silva, that would have been resolved by Everton probably paying him an up front signing on fee as otherwise he would have remained unemployed until he got satisfactory payment from us.
Maybe the saga isn't over? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...tential-points-deduction-marco-silva-tapping/
Justice would be a huge fine, points deduction, relegation for the first time in their history resulting in Silva being sacked and Richarlison moving on to a big club, Moshiri selling the club for peanuts, a whole bag should suffice and Everton having to earn the right to be in the Premier League However doing the double over them and finishing several place above them in the table would make us all feel better
Some of the comments on the Everton FC forum "Silva like the owner, clueless" "This fraud is worse than the last one" "I'm losing faith in this joke of a manager" Oh dear, it now seems a lot of worthless effort to have poached the snake. Have you got Big Sam's number?
