When.all.else.fails.correct.their.grammar.l.o.l When I write on the internet on a football forum I couldn´t give a rats ass about my grammar mistakes. Only if it´s not understandable will I be bother changing it. I´m not writing up my C.V nor I´m not writing a letter to the queen so...
Some more here: - There should be an apostrophe in "rat's". - "nor I´m not writing a letter" is nonsensical and a double negative. What you meant to say was "nor am I writing a letter". - "Queen" has a capital Q.
Can we cut the **** now please, some of us have just finished work & don't want to sift through loads of crap to find the football chat. You lot are not going to agree, so just move on.
A summary of this thread so far: - Silva and Balotelli may miss the start of the season - They still have a bunch of other great players, and are probably going to beat us - Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch.
I'm okay with Americanisms. I understand that they annoy some people, and I can see why, but I think it's probably about time we adopted them. The whole world understands them, and a lot of them make more sense (e.g. "sidewalk", pronunciation of the letter Z). I'm not going to start saying "aluminum" though, that's just dumb.
I haven't read this whole thread and cant be bothered to, but correcting grammar/spelling doesnt count as an argument. If anything it strikes as desperation. Getting back on subject, Tevez or Dzeko do just as good a job up top as Balotelli, and Nasri is more than capable of covering for Silva so I wouldnt really consider them being out as making much difference.
