Yes and Jenkinson is very talented. I only would have liked Vrsaljko more than him for two reasons: his name would be so hard to pronounce that it would make Rooney's head explode every time he played against him and he's rated higher.
Still, Jenkinson is a big Arsenal fan and he's able to play on the left also. Great signing considering our academy wasn't producing a natural successor to Sagna.

Both Vidic & Rio are ageing and have only a few years left at the top. Smalling & Jones are the natural successors to them.
Arsenal have 3 CB's all in their early to mid 20's, he'd have no guarantee of being 1st choice for the next 8 years. CB's will look at Arsenal and think it's not a good move right now. The CB balance is wrong.

Gutted about Jones, i really though he was ours for the taking - could have offered potential in defensive mid as well.
C'mon guys. Be smarter. At any other time of the year the Arsenal signing would have gone completely unreported, but the press did it to try and make a bigger deal out of it than it is. Last night Wenger was meeting Jones, do you think he met this kid from Charlton?

That is now 17m spent on Jones, De Gea will be signed July 1st for 18.5m after he changes agents to Mendes and Young will be signed for 15m and that will leave us with JUST 120M Left to spend.
Young will cost over 15m.
