They completely frustrated Soton last night, as even when given the opportunity to play the ball into the danger area from a set play they were getting absolutely nowhere due to the sheer physical size of United now. That's going to prove to make a massive difference over the course of a season imo
Not even the best GK in the League? Shaw is come good, as he was out for so long, Valencia is showing to be a good wing back, Smalling/Blind will do a job if not the best.
No doubts about De Gea, just those in front of him. Shaw is still inexperienced, and Valencia isn't a natural full back. Let's see how they do against tougher opposition. Smalling, I've never rated. He's short of a brain, IMO.
What do you reckon to Spurs chances this season mate? I was there last week and we made you look extremely ordinary for the best part of an hour, then Jansen came on and changed the game, he looks a real player based on the 30 minutes I saw of him. I think this could be a tough season for Kane tbh.
One of the 'great things' about being a Spurs fan, Tobes, is you never know what to expect. They can beat anybody one week, and then play like they did against Newcastle the next! If MP can finally introduce some consistency and we don't suffer too badly with injuries, I think we'll do ok - top six. We have the talent, if not the depth. With CL to deal with too, there's going to be some juggling needed by Pochettino.
You're a solid side under Poch, but if Erikson is off his game you lack creativity for me. I think you'll be in and around the top 6 though, maybe better if you can find some consistency. The RS are going to be the most unpredictable imo. I think they'll smash someone one week and get gubbed the week after. They'll be good entertainment though, plenty of attacking flair in that side, but a soft centre in midfield and an average back line (at best)
M6 south is crap at the moment, come off at Wolves and go the back way or you will sit in the traffic
The biggest change at Utd at the moment is that they seem to have got a buzz about them again. After a few years of moyes, LVG and boring football, they now have Maureen and two or three really good additions to the squad. I'd expect them to be challenging for the title this season.
Liverpool are the most likely to win the title imo. Saying that I like Bailly the big fella in Utd's defence, looks quality. The bottom line with Utd is they've been missing a spine for years. Jose has not just gone out got any spine, his spine is big, and very physical. Any team with this spine has a chance De Gea Bailly Pogba Mikytarian Ibra That is the best spine in the PL.
Ok if you must... at the time is was so good people like @Jurgen tried to copy and claim it I said that Utd had the best spine in the league, however Man city have better arms and legs...(however, I said it in a very clear and structured comical fashion) It was one of those moments that you had to be there to see the funny side
