Anybody else attend the signing and meet Jos and Steve tonight? Personally I thought they seemed like great guys and they had a very good sense of humour. I just thought it was good to see this good spirit at Southampton!

My first thread on here so please don't slate me ;)

Jos is an absolute dude. Some day some footballer is going to do something really stupid on Twitter but Jos and Steve handle it perfectly...now if only I could work out how to use it.

Hi SFC_Ryan_COYR

Welcome to the Saints site no one will slate you at all on your first post. Enjoy the site they are a good bunch of lads on here! Any problems don't hesitate to contact either Channonfodder, st_brendy or myself and we will do are best to help you.

Jos comes across as a very nice bloke and I think half the reason he's performed so well on the pitch is down to the welcoming attitude of the other players, and he's quite easily settled into the banter and joking of his team mates.

Steve received a lot of unfair criticism on here last week. He knows he should have set-up what would have been a goal last week, but it was no need to be used as a catalyst for an overall summary of his general performance to date.

'Together as One' in what is such an important few days for the club.

It's also a good thing that he now knows how much this game means to the majority of us on Sunday:

"Nice to talk to some of the fans at the signing session! Conclusion: I think we HAVE to win on sunday...;-) #sumsitup"

:D

A question, asked non-ironically. Why does "Beddytare" edit some posts and not others? In this thread she comments on a post that contains a "slight spelling mistake" that turns out to be an i instead of an I, then totally ignores a misplaced apostrophe in the next one, thus giving the impression that she is ignorant of the norms of English punctuation.
