He's been fantastic so far but it's a long old season, I'd put us favourites to finish second right now but not 1st.
gangster rap, you seem to be lost without sky You are reverting to your spursy ways..... I agree united are ahead on City in terms of winning the PL in my book. There team is far more balanced that Citys and i don't fancy City to be dazzling for the entire season although they do have the strength in depth alongside United. For what its worth, as much i don't want to see Matth wet himself and put up with Stan when "Matic" wins them the league (he does add great balance to your side), i'd much prefer Jose to win than Pep as Joses still a chelsea legend (in my book) and also cause i hate the overrated Pep.
Can't agree with that on the principle that Bakayoko is the better player and has scope to improve. Still ****ing daft to sell Matic (the exact player United needed) to United. Would have been better to send him abroad for a few million less.
Flores himself inserted a release clause after 1 year and there was talk he was itching for a move back to Spain in that summer (which he got). He also had his favourite players and some he refused to drop even though some were looking exhausted by January. Ighalo had a calendar year of being superb but from January in that season he was awful (as were a number of players). Flores refused to change the team or tactics. We had 4 wins (and 5 draws) after our win against Liverpool on the 20th December until the end of the season (21 games). it wasn't only the losses but the way we lost - they were truly awful games to watch and he just didn't seemed bothered. Mazzarri last season was just a joke and doesn't even need talking about As for Jokanovic. We offered him a new contract, on very good money but he was asking for a ridiculous amount. We wanted him to stay, as did the board, and was disappointed he went... but he priced himself out of the position. I think we offered something like £1m basic plus about the same if we stayed up but the contract he was after would have put him in around the top 6 or 7 best-paid managers in the Prem. I'm glad with our new manager and the only way he will leave is if someone bigger comes in for him and he wants to go.
