He could be phenomenal. He certainly has the raw materials. I just don't like the way he carries himself on the pitch and for a 6'2" central midfielder in a team which has the ball most of the time he doesn't have enough impact IMO.
He's been distinctly average. Was pretty much anonymous today when it came to halting Saints, and the occasional punt upfield. Having said that, I'm not going to write him off in his first season. There's been many a terrific player who's had a poor first season and gone on to greatness. I keep my fingers crossed that he'll grow into his role and become the player we had expected.
