I have just had a text from a local lad (Footballer) and I hope there no truth in it, but there is talk among our squad that Rodgers is taking Siggy, Williams, and Allen, this would be catastrophic to our cause, I just hope that the young lad has got it all wrong, worrying times if this is true!.................
We can't do much about Siggy but surely Allen & Ash are contracted? If that is the case, and they insist on going, we could be looking at £15/20 million. Don't want them to leave but let's bleed Liverpool dry if they want them. We'll need the money for quality replacements. Hoping it's just a rumour.

This is a difficult one. But he was due for a medical this week and if he doesn't arrive by Friday then we can assume the deal is off. Complete silence from the board, and we all know what that usually means. Would be a great shame, but plenty of other good players out there. But let's hope that he has his medical today and signs. I have my doubts though because I think Brendan was a big reason he agreed to come. Most people would think twice if they were about to join a new company because it had a great manager and then the manager left. And I'm sure Siggy has other choices, so who knows.

Casual, he is still a Hoffenhim player, correct. But, fee's have been agreed and a contract cannot be signed until a medical has been taken. Now, the medical was Wednesday/Thursday, so we can assume that Gylfi will make his decision today. So, not over yet. I think he'll sign.
You have been mis-informed by someone because Huw says Siggy is on holiday so he hasn't had a medical and he definitely won't be signing this week. Maybe next week, but funny how he suddenly disappeared on holiday when he had already agreed to a medical. Yes, just speculation, but it's not looking good. Terms agreed, but that was before BR left. BR leaving could change things. I hope not, but it's looking that way.
I cant see Siggy going to Liverpool, 7million for someone to make up the squad numbers? He fits into our team, Liverpool I aint so sure.
