I would probably have not beleived you had you said that 12 months ago, granted. There is a big difference now though because 12 months ago we had different owners with a different (or no) strategy. As Bozz & Ze Liverbird have said, the current owners want to build a young team, Wayne Bridge does not fit in, which is why we won't sign him this summer.

    Lettuce.

You didn't respond in enough detail to my last post. This leads me to conclude that you are indeed a Lettuce by any other name. I very much doubt that you'll be banned by any of our illustrious mods for being who you are. We all understand the pain you suffer through the team you support. Come to us: we can ease that pain - we care. So be yourself and don't hide behind subtefuge. It's not the way forward come out of denial and live again.

By the way, I just found out that I'm both gay and dyslexic. I think I'm still in Daniel........

Lettuce was right on quite a few things actually.

    Joe Cole would flop
    Jovanovic would flop
    Torres would leave that season
Liverpool would fail to get top 4
    Aquilani would flop

but to name just a small selection of his correct threads.

Don't think we can say Aquilaini has flopped yet, I hope he stays this season and proves his worth. Injury and being loaned out in an immense act of ****-wittery have hindered him so far.

well if you looked at it like this you would.

17 million spent, the firsdt 4 months of his anfield career was spent on a treatement table, the lad played a handful of games, was then shipped out to italy on loan for a year with a view to selling agreed in the loan , juve didnt want to entertain the figure, liverpool are buying midfielders left right and centre its a certain sign he will be gone as soon as anothermug is willing to spend what you lot spent

i dont think hes not a bad player, i think hes pretty decent but for 17 million you expect him to acually have some sort of skeletal structure that can withstand a light breeze, just my opinion. Same with agger, absolute quality, but its worthless if that quality isnt on the pitch.

I had dinner with Cheryl Cole and then dumped her and went out for a pint with Jeff Bridges who told me that he had dinner with leighton Baines and his mum and they said he would sign for Liverpool next week.

So you're either Jeff Bridges and have got it wrong or you are cheating on Jeff Bridges bird which is a bad idea as he's dead hard!

He played a whole bunch of games in italy last year and had a 90% pass success rate which dispel the myth of him

    B) Being injury prone - he was unlucky

If we worked with your logic you'd count Shearer as an injury prone

Bozz he may have played well for juve but is that what u paid 17 million for?

you only have to look at his career to see last season was the only season of his career that he didnt have a serious injury.

    Wayne Bridge. Sigh.

If he gets in the team then all hope is lost. We'd be better off sticking Flanno in full time, or just put Aerellio there on his sick bed.

    Massively overated.

Only because I can't get to you, pal. That's metaphorical by the way. You're not my pal, Lettuce.

I'm always sound - just a change of tactics is all. You'll remember I was sound back in the day when you were Lettuce. I don't have a violent bone in my body - merely an acerbic tongue. Goose fabbar!
