I agree he's a dick mate. If the ideal came about, he wouldn't be back but he does a good job of making some people look really idiotic.
Their bans were fully justified - I take it you never really had threads spoiled, debates ended or points lost when these particular people were about. EDIT: No offence intended - just explaining why I feel they detract from the board.
Think you might of misunderstood mate. I totally agree that they should of been banned. One reason why I haven't posted for a while was because of them and the constant childish, attention seeking bullshit that was been posted by certain wums, one in particular who just seems to refuse to just **** off. But, what I was trying to get at with my post was that you can't just blame wums for what some mackems were spouting over the last couple of weeks
I like it here but have been accused of being an imposter or someone else. People need to get away from their insecurities and remember its a message board not life.
You are quite correct, however you would like to see some morals and standards applied to message boards surely (and I'm not calling you Shirley)- some seem to see message boards as a vehicle for an alter ego(s).
I'm here and here I shall remain. A good bunch of lads, even the ones I argue with are here. The Skunks are a good read too apart from the thread destroyers with no life. In the early days of the net I was on a load of forums, including some that would make most on here's hair curl. Even moderated a few. I have no intention of following Syd or anyone else. I came here following Joe from BBC606 as it was closing. BBC606 was the only one I stuck with, as the single team boards were boring. I had actually been to NOT606 previously as I had been pointed to a thread on GC. (Yeah it was that bad!!! hahaha but ****ing funny.) I'm now at the stage where reading multiple forums and re-reading the same rehashed comments over and over again is boring. (I have also stopped reading multiple news sites.) I enjoy reading the comments on here as they are fresh. (At least to me!) I even read without commenting most times, as I would probably be just agreeing all the time. As long as there is at least one other Mackem here, here I shall remain.
